Semtech Corporation (Nasdaq: SMTC), a leading provider of high-performance semiconductors powering AI data center networking and intelligent, connected Internet of Things (“IoT”) devices worldwide, will host an Analyst Day today, during which management will detail the company’s strategy to capture a growing opportunity in AI data center connectivity and provide a financial update, including the company’s multi-year outlook.

“AI is driving demand to move more data, faster, with less power,” said Dr. Hong Hou, president and chief executive officer of Semtech. “As AI infrastructure scales, each connection carries more bandwidth within a tighter power budget, which we believe increases the value Semtech can deliver in every link. Our leadership in high-performance analog, expanding copper and fiber portfolios, and close partnerships with hyperscalers and ecosystem leaders position us to capture this growth.”

Data Center Growth Strategy

At today’s Analyst Day, Semtech will outline three strategic priorities designed to expand its role in AI infrastructure and drive sustained data center growth:

  • Enabling higher-performance AI infrastructure with greater power efficiency. As AI clusters scale and networking speeds increase, Semtech’s high-performance analog technologies will help customers move more data while managing signal integrity, and power consumption– constraints that become more significant with each new generation of AI infrastructure.

  • Capturing more content across evolving AI connectivity architectures. By building capabilities across both copper and optical interconnects and increasing its content across the signal chain, we believe Semtech can address a broader set of customer requirements while increasing its share in next-generation data center systems.

  • Deepening strategic engagement with leading AI infrastructure customers. Semtech is engaging with hyperscalers and module manufacturers to align its roadmap with customer architectures, solve increasingly complex connectivity challenges and create opportunities to win more content over successive technology generations.
