Robards & Sons Lawn Care Inc has formally announced the launch of an updated service offering designed specifically to address lawn pest infestations, focusing on professional grub control in Greenwood, IN. This service expansion aims to provide local homeowners and commercial property managers with structured solutions for managing subterranean insects that disrupt turf health. White grubs, which represent the larval stage of various beetle species including Japanese beetles and June beetles, commonly target regional turfgrasses during late summer and early autumn. During these months, the larvae feed on the root systems directly beneath the soil surface, preventing grass from absorbing essential moisture and soil nutrients, which results in visible brown patches and turf detachment.

The newly introduced grub control service by Robards & Sons Lawn Care Inc relies on an Integrated Pest Management framework. Integrated Pest Management is a standard agricultural and horticultural strategy that coordinates biological knowledge, monitoring protocols, and targeted application techniques to manage pest populations effectively. Rather than applying uniform chemical treatments on a fixed calendar, the company’s protocol emphasizes site-specific evaluations to determine whether treatment threshold levels have been met. By incorporating pest lifecycle tracking and localized soil observation, the program combines curative measures for active larvae with preventative treatments timed to intercept newly hatched grubs before severe root damage takes place.

Before applying control products, trained service specialists conduct thorough property inspections and soil evaluations. These site assessments involve checking sample areas of soil to establish the population density of larvae per square foot and evaluating the current health of the turfgrass root zone. Gathering this field data enables technicians to select application methods suited to the specific lawn conditions and to schedule treatments during periods when young grubs are feeding near the surface and remain most vulnerable to control agents. Furthermore, documenting these specific soil measurements across multiple visits allows the team to track treatment progress and adjust future application strategies accordingly.

In conjunction with the service rollout, Robards & Sons Lawn Care Inc is launching an educational program intended to assist property owners with ongoing lawn care management. The company plans to publish a digital resource guide accessible to the public via its website. This publication will outline practical steps for Greenwood residents, including how to identify early indicators of pest activity—such as spongy turf texture, increased animal digging, and loose sod—and how cultural practices like proper mowing heights and balanced irrigation schedules can support turf recovery following pest stress.

Company representatives note that pairing physical application services with client education helps maintain turf condition throughout changing seasonal cycles. Mowing grass at appropriate heights and managing soil moisture levels play a functional role in supporting root depth, which allows lawns to withstand insect pressure more effectively.

Additionally, Robards & Sons Lawn Care Inc plans to coordinate with local community organizations and area gardening groups to host informational seminars. These public sessions will cover fundamental turfgrass management concepts, insect identification methods, and regional timing guidelines for pest prevention in central Indiana.

This program expansion broadens the range of turf maintenance and pest management offerings provided by Robards & Sons Lawn Care Inc within the local market. For complete details regarding service options, scheduling, or grub control in Greenwood, IN, as well as access to the educational materials and workshop schedules, property owners are encouraged to visit the official Robards & Sons Lawn Care Inc website or reach out to the company’s office directly.
