The premium meat purveyor broadens its sourcing and retail offerings just in time for the holiday season
LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Herd & Grace, a premium butcher and online meat purveyor, is expanding its selection of specialty proteins just in time for the holiday season, bringing together distinctive beef programs from the United States and Australia, specialty pork from Spain, premium lamb and a growing assortment of seafood, chicken and sausage. The expansion builds on the company’s focus on sourcing products with distinct origins, genetics and feeding practices, while its 2026 Holiday Collection offers curated selections for seasonal entertaining and gifting.
Herd & Grace’s beef selection includes programs such as Robbins Island Australian Wagyu; Bella Cattle, a full-blood Wagyu program raised in Hartsville, Tennessee, using Japanese Black Tajima genetics; and Galiciana, a specialty beef program featuring Tasmanian-raised, British-bred cattle in the Galician tradition. The company also offers Mayura, a premium Wagyu program, and Cape Grim grass-fed and grass-finished beef from Tasmania. Each program offers distinct characteristics shaped by genetics, origin and production practices.
The selection extends beyond beef to include Campo Grande Ibérico pork from Spain and premium Australian lamb. With expanded cold-storage capacity at its new Los Angeles retail store located at 11668 W Olympic Blvd, Herd & Grace is also broadening its assortment to include seafood, chicken, sausage and other specialty proteins, creating a more comprehensive destination for customers seeking products beyond conventional grocery-store offerings.
“Our approach has always been about finding products with a story behind them and giving customers access to proteins they might not find elsewhere,” explained Svante Johansson, President and CEO of Herd and Grace. “That means looking closely at genetics, origin, feeding practices and the people behind each program. As we expand our selection, we want to preserve that focus on sourcing while making it easier for customers to discover and experience a wider range of specialty proteins.”
The new West Los Angeles shop – Herd & Grace Steak Store – brings that approach into a retail setting, with a selection designed to encourage customers to explore different cuts and sourcing programs. In addition to expanded cold storage, the location features a patio, steak tastings and a rare LA treat: on-site parking. Customers can speak directly with the butchers about cuts, marbling, feeding practices and preparation methods, gaining a better understanding of how different products may suit a particular meal or occasion.
Overseeing the Herd & Grace Steak Store is Senior Director and In-House Butcher Michael Puglisi, whose culinary career has taken him across the country, from working as a butcher and charcutier alongside James Beard Award-winning chefs to serving as executive sous chef for Michelin-starred chef Thomas Keller. Drawing on his experience in both professional kitchens and the butcher trade, Michael leads the company’s operations and oversees its steak tastings, where guests can explore the characteristics of different cuts and specialty beef programs.
“Choosing a steak isn’t just about the cut,” elaborated Puglisi. “The breed, marbling, fat distribution and how the beef was raised can all influence the experience. The new location gives us more opportunities to walk customers through those differences and help them discover products they may not have tried before.”
The expansion arrives alongside Herd & Grace’s 2026 Holiday Collection, which features curated options for gifting and holiday entertaining. Offerings include the Wagyu Snob Box, a premium assortment of Wagyu cuts; the Best of Herd & Grace box, featuring a range of the company’s specialty products; and the Surf & Turf Lobster Collection, which pairs the premium steak with lobster. Additional options include the Athlete’s Choice Box and steak-focused collections featuring ribeye, New York strip and filet mignon. The Galiciana Collection provides another option for customers interested in the company’s specialty beef programs.
Free shipping is available on all Herd & Grace holiday gift boxes during the 2026 holiday season, with nationwide delivery available. To get Herd & Grace delivered to your doorstep and browse their extensive selection of curated subscription boxes, access their selection here.
